With good strength and wear resistance, acid-resistant bricks have excellent corrosion resistance to organic and inorganic acids except hydrofluoric acid. Acid-resistant bricks are used in acid atmosphere flues, autoclaves, recovery pots, large-scale acid-resistant tank containers and storage tanks in the acid process papermaking industry.
